Our digital world proliferates “free” tools and platforms. Just don’t be fooled by the trial offers, subscriptions, and other usage opportunities at a lower cost. The “upscale” or “profit maximize” will eventually manifest. Be vigilant!
I have reason to hope that’s grounded in my relationship with my Creator, but as long as there is a tomorrow, we have the opportunity to learn, improve, and try again. Few things in life provide reasons for optimism than the knowledge that you still have more at-bats.
Today, the smallest margins separate those who succeed and those who do not. The greatest successes come to those who process and curate information the best (and prepare for different circumstances). They are the ones most ready when “the lights come on”.
Finding Happiness in the journey has been key to achieving the goals (like Success) that I used to treat as a “destination”. Just keep in mind that Happiness is your response to the situation. We can be happy and find joy regardless of our surroundings. You cannot control the event, but you can definitely control how you respond to it!
Speaking as a user of Twitter, I don’t care who owns it. I use it for the value that it brings me. As for its future, that will be a result of how it serves its user community more so than the opinions of those who manage it!
Everyone loves having choices! If there is one thing our evolving culture affords, it is more choices. However, with the expansion of choices, our ability to quickly and effectively make decisions (aka – choose) is at historic lows.
Belief (especially as it relates to your goals and aspirations) is a powerful thing. Along with its running mate, Hope, there are few things that have enabled more people to accomplish more than many felt possible.
You have to enjoy as many important moments as possible. It is a blessing to see your kids growing, learning, and doing new things. It is doubly a blessing to be able to be there as they do. In the end, it is these memories that are etched for those times when I’m not around.
In our Facebook/Instagram culture, we see many people presenting themselves as something that they are not. There are countless others feigning certainty/strength they clearly do not have.
Humility and patient determination are greater needs today than before. We’ve had plenty enough of the alternatives!
