All Things New
It is always fun to welcome the longer and warmer days that mark the beginnings of Spring. For those of us who garden or enjoy other outside pursuits, it is exciting to get out into the sunshine.
The beginnings of Spring are also reminders of a universal renewal event that happened around 2000 years ago. Easter marks a moment in history where our Creator made us a way back to Him (that we were wholly incapable of making for ourselves).
The connection between humanity and God is something that we didn’t originally create, but we did damage it. (See Garden of Eden / Fall of Man) As such, it was also something that we were not going to be able to fix ourselves.
It took God, Himself, to repair it. The upcoming celebration of Easter (marking the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus) is when we remember how much we meant to God. We also get to see the extents to which he went to ensure that relationship.
Finally, it is important to remember that Easter also represents our choice to accept that relationship. Without a Fall, we’d never have had the choice to enter that relationship with God. That connection had to be broken as a means to empower our choice to participate in it.
In the end, that was God’s way of desiring that connection with us, but ultimately giving us the choice of whether to participate in it.
If you really want to see how great God is – imagine the Creator of all things desiring a relationship with us, but accepting our decision in the matter. #ThatsMyKing
Happy Easter Week to your all!

Remote First & Remote Forced
Here’s what that means (and why you should care):
Belief (especially as it relates to your goals and aspirations) is a powerful thing. Along with its running mate, Hope, there are few things that have enabled more people to accomplish more than many felt possible.
While seeing a problem exists is the first step, the pathway to a solution requires Belief. Ultimately, it is a belief that you can find and deliver a solution.
It has been said that “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you are ultimately right!”
I saw a YouTube video last night of “Diamond Dallas” Page (DDP) and Jake “The Snake” Roberts as they were sharing how Jake’s life had changed with DDP’s mentorship.
They recounted how Jake (early in his recovery) was continually berating and talking down to himself. Whether it was the things he wore (with negative perspectives) or the language with which he described himself, Jake hated himself and that largely governed his response.
Dallas talked to putting Jake in front of a mirror and asking him what he saw. In giving voice to and calling out the negativity, he showed Jake how changing his outlook (and belief in himself) was his first step to real recovery.
It is a great story, but just one among millions of people who find (or are shown) the power of Belief and how that simple change can lead to massively different results.
- Where have you been struggling?
- What stories (ultimately lies) have you been telling yourself?
- What is the new one that you need to hear?
I’d love to hear from some of you. If there are answers to those questions that I can help with (if only that “other voice” expressing a Belief instead of a Nay-Say), I would love for your to share them.

Six Best (and Free) WP Plug-ins for SEO
I’ve made no secret that my website (and those that Sirus Digital creates/manages for clients) use the WordPress platform. If you are someone interested in doing it yourself, here are some good SEO-related plug-ins to keep in mind.
BEWARE!! Risks of AI-generated Content
A number of websites are beginning to use AI-generated content and there is a proliferation of providers using (and selling it). This recent Google Search Central Office-Hours Hangout (with John Mueller – one of Google’s Search experts) highlights the potential risks if you choose to do so. Mueller labeling it “spam” and calling out that it represents a violation of their expected good practices is a warning shot.
Just because Google doesn’t recognize AI-generated content as such *NOW* does not mean that eventual algorithm updates will not identify it in the future! If you choose to go down this path, don’t be surprised if a future Search Update doesn’t drastically (and very quickly) affect your search rankings.
